CUIABÁ – TRANSPANTANEIRA
Arrival at Cuiabá Airport, Mato Grosso. You will be met by our team and transferred to the city of Poconé on a 1 hour and 30 minute (100 km) trip, then we will continue our journey along the Transpantaneira highway on paved roads. During the trip, there will be scheduled stops for photographing animals, including capybaras, caimans, savanna hawks, jabiru storks, anteaters, deer, maned wolves, marsh cats, peccaries, monkeys, anacondas, lizards, armadillos, coatis, turtles, reptiles, tapirs, ostriches, macaws, parrots, toucans, eagles, and many other bird species that will fascinate you.
Arrival at the lodge on the Transpantaneira.

TRANSPANTANEIRA – PORTO JOFRE – JAGUARLAND – PORTO JOFRE
We will continue our exploration along the Transpantaneira highway, making mandatory stops to see more animals found throughout the Pantanal savanna, especially thousands of caimans, many birds, such as the great Tuyuyu, a large specimen known as the symbol of the Pantanal. In the afternoon, we will depart for the Encontro das Águas State Park, home to the largest concentration of jaguars on the planet, known as Jaguarland. This is a very valuable region where you will see promising areas for jaguar observation, such as the Cuiabá River, the Três Irmãos River, and the Piquiri River. In this area, you can film and photograph wild jaguars from speedboats. You might even see a jaguar hunting a caiman or a pair of jaguars mating on the riverbank. And, if you are lucky, you might even see a jaguar with her cubs. Without a doubt, you will witness unique images that will leave you with lifelong memories in the Land of the Jaguar.

PORTO JOFRE – JAGUARLAND – PORTO JOFRE
Enjoy a full day of jaguar watching (guaranteed). See also giant otters, birds, wading birds, caimans, capybaras, and more jaguars, all day long in Jaguarland.

PORTO JOFRE – CUIABÁ.
After breakfast, you will begin the journey back to Cuiabá. The trip will offer you the last views of the Pantanal and some good wildlife sightings along the Transpantaneira highway.
Lunch at a lodge along the way. Return to the airport or your hotel.
